This course focuses on the process of creating a digital avatar; from creating the base model to adding custom skin details, textures, makeup looks and hairstyles. Using Daz Studio to create the base model, Substance Painter to create custom skin texture maps, makeup variations and skin details and finally blender to add more variation to avatar features with morphs and learning how to create the final render in both Daz Studio and Blender.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
The course is designed for absolute beginners to the Avatar creation workflow. It is also for others with intermediate level knowledge in the creation of digital identities.
I have spent a lot of time creating the sometimes complicated workflow of creating a digital identity. What it is that you should focus on first to achieve a realistic looking avatar.
In this course we would be using mainly Daz Studio which is a free software students will have to buy assets from the Daz store.
Also we would be using blender and also substance painter for the texturing. Substance painter is a paid software, it would be advisable to opt for the free trial before going ahead to purchase a subscription for the software.
